Privacy policy

In short: Simple Feedback has no servers of its own and collects nothing. What you capture stays in your browser, and leaves it only when you download it.
What the extension stores
When you capture part of a page, the extension saves, in your browser only:
- a screenshot of the region you selected;
- your voice note, if you record one;
- the page’s address and title, and where on the page the region is;
- browser details that help understand the feedback: browser and operating system, language, time zone, screen and window size, light or dark mode, and the page that linked to it.
All of this lives in the extension’s own storage in your browser. Websites can’t read it. It stays until you delete it, or uninstall the extension.
When it uses the page and the microphone
- The page: only when you click the extension’s button, and only the tab you clicked it on. It doesn’t read or watch the pages you visit.
- The microphone: only while you record a voice note. Your browser asks for permission the first time.
What it sends
Nothing. The extension makes no network requests: no analytics, no tracking, no ads, no account.
When you download a ZIP, the file goes to your computer, where you decide what to do with it.
What we receive
Nothing. We don’t sell, share or receive your data, because it never reaches us.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
